Concealed Weapon Officers
We provide clients with Off-Duty Police officers who carry weapons in a concealed manner and employ special experience and equipment. For example; The license required to carry a concealed weapon in California is unique and mostly unavailable for the majority of armed guards. In certain circumstances it is preferred to have an officer with a concealed weapon on site vs. an exposed guard. Such instances include high-sensitivity locations or sites which are frequently robbed and therefore require a higher level of surveillance and response. An officer who carries his /her weapon concealed may or may not wear uniforms.
Unarmed Guards
Many security services do not require guards to be armed. It is a matter of fact the simply the presence of a uniformed guard may be sufficient in deterring violence. Such services are normally present in high –traffic locations such as shopping malls and supermarkets. Armed Guards

Vehicle Patrols
Many security services offered by Quest National Security may include a security vehicle. Vehicle patrol is typically deemed valuable due to several reasons: • The location may be too large for individual security officers (foot patrol) to sufficiently cover • The presence of a security vehicles acts as a deterrent for criminals. A clealry marked security vehicle can goa long way in preventing crime before it happens • Response time and ability to chase criminals is essential • Presence of security vehicle may reduce client’s cost due to the fact that the security vehicle may be sufficient in replacing additional guards
Loss Prevention (LP)
Many businesses suffer from theft conducted by shoplifters as well as by thieves that either act independently or receive “inside information” and coordinate their activities with store employees. Additionally, in many large retail operations Employee theft occurs as well. Such theft can occur within the store or in its warehouse and facilities, often during business hours. Loss Prevention is a form of Private Investigation and include multiple methods designed to reduce or eliminate business losses. Such losses are not limited to shoplifting and theft. According to the 2006 National Retail Security Survey, retail operations suffered an average annual inventory shrinkage percentage of 1.57% in 2006. However, some retailers often experience monthly and annual average losses as high as 20%!
